This is a thread very much worth a read, and also the discourse surrounding this is upsettingly baby-brained. We live in the world where a large portion of the population doesn’t understand context. 🧵 just to be meta
i think 'bisexual people exist' in response to the trump sucking clintons cock thing is genuinely bi/homophobic

I just bought a dozen of these stickers to see how they'd come out. If they come out well, I'm going to order a bunch more to give away (in both trans and lesbian) 😊

Zophar's Domain and Home of the Underdogs did more to shape my taste in games than anything else.
29 long years have passed since I founded the emulation archive, Zophar's Domain, on 11.9.96. To this very day, the site still stands as a testament to an era that never actually disappeared but continues to live in the hearts of retrogamers all over the word. Emulation Forever!

Peter Watkins' film on the Paris Commune blew my mind. His films are like confrontations with a reality you've struggled to face your whole life. His personal statements on commodification of cinematic languages can sound a bit paranoid, but artistic languages *have* been dumbed down & truncated.
There's a terrific documentary about the making of his final film, La Commune, a reenactment of the rise and destruction of the 1871 Paris Commune cast with real migrants & working class people as Communards & real bourgeois mediacrats as the Versailles lot:

RIP Peter Watkins, whose film about the 1871 Paris Commune treats it as if it were a current news event, with participants talking to reporters. It runs to nearly six hours & was shot in less than a fortnight in an abandoned factory www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDTT...
