I taught 1st grade for 20 years but now I aid and abet the teachers' union. Vegetarian, but genuinely try not to be annoying about it. In Illinois - but not Chicago, one of the small town parts.
The actual secret to why I know stuff is that I ask a question any time I don’t understand literally anything. I don’t care how simple it is. Anybody who makes fun of you for asking a simple question likely doesn’t know the answer either

There are bonafide monsters stalking the earth eagerly and enthusiastically distributing suffering to anyone they please. And with no recourse on our end but to film them and shout and beg for anyone with power to stop them. How convenient that the monopoly on violence always also acts as a shield.

It is tacky for really famous people to be in TV commercials for products. Their gambling debts/boat repairs are not my problem, those roles should belong to actors like the Time To Make The Donuts guy and the actress who said "who are you calling a cootie queen you lint licker" in that Orbit ad.

We watched Code 3 tonight and my medic boyfriend can't believe how well they were able to show the broad issues in EMS in such a short time. He was howling. Heart wrenching but funny cuz it's true. We just loved it.

you'd think the governor of illinois basically going "we're being invaded by an authoritarian" would be something you'd see real easy on the front page of most everything an hour later

there should be a vast gulf between "supporting Newsom's response to Texas" (or even "supporting Newsom's online trolling") and "supporting Newsom as a presidential candidate
Think there are a helluva lot more Californians that are applauding Newsom for his taking on Trump and Gov Abbott
