I have begged people to use other streaming music services. They aren't great for artists either, but they're all better than Spotify.
In April 2024, Spotify implemented a new scheme: songs with less than 1k streams per year would no longer receive royalties.
The data for 2025 was just released via Luminate, and 88% of songs have been demonetized.

ICE is not law enforcement. It's an authoritarian gang. They target suburbs, school zones and quiet neighborhoods for the easy targets and avoid actual crime zones or known criminals in order to avoid putting themselves at risk.

ICE shoots into vehicles because nobody's actually pulling weapons on them. But they know a vehicle can be considered a deadly weapon in court, and it's the only justification they're gonna find for what they're obviously itching to do.
This is the ninth shooting by ICE since September (I did not know that). All of them were into vehicles.
