I still can't quite believe I am included in the 2025 Searle Scholars cohort. Feeling especially thankful for all who have supported me. I am most excited about the science @riley-research.bsky.social gets to pursue and the support this award provides for my group

Have fun with the poster presentation today @timveth.bsky.social!
@timveth.bsky.social is not only attending #SFG2025 - he helped organize Glycopalooza events for early career researchers and is presenting poster B10-110 Tuesday. Check it out in session 2 to hear his impressive work integrating bottom-up and top-down methods to define glycoproteoform heterogeneity

The overlap of #HUPO2025 with #SFG2025 this week means I’m missing out on the #glycotime fun at SFG in San Diego.

I am happy postdoc @timveth.bsky.social is able to represent @riley-research.bsky.social at SFG instead!

Not only did Kayla do a great job with her #HUPO2025 presentation, but she also was recognized this afternoon as one of the winners of the competitive 2025 Quantitative Proteomics Grant from Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Way to go, Kayla!

If you’re applying to your dream lab for an internship/PhD/postdoc, always send a second email 1-2 weeks after the first one if you don’t hear back.

I promise we will be grateful rather than annoyed. My email inbox is a disaster and I’m quite junior - and very few of us have secretarial support

Have you wondered how nanoparticle protein coronas (e.g., Seer’s Proteograph XT) can help with glycoprotein enrichment in biofluids?

We were curious, too, and this new @riley-research.bsky.social pre-print led by outstanding postdoc @emmajays.bsky.social details our #glycotime investigations.
Can nanoparticles help us probe the glycoproteome?

The new pre-print from @riley-research.bsky.social seeks to answer this question using the Proteograph technology from Seer Inc.
