NEW: @propublica.org investigated the Chicago apartment raid where kids were zip-tied and citizens detained for hours. They find:

- NONE of the arrested were criminally charged
- NO evidence the building was "filled with TdA terrorists."
- ZERO legitimate reason for DHS to rappel from a Blackhawk.

Again, but louder: the server can’t be reached by libraries and the folks trying to use them BECAUSE OF AI CRAWLERS.
Gavin, you massive disappointment, what are you doing??

(I mean, I know what you're doing, but I need you to stop)

How many educators did you talk to when you made this decision? Oh, none, you say? Ohhhh this is for presidential donations, you say?

Why do these terms "pro social" and "alignment" seem so singular in the assumption of one set of ethics and social values to calibrate technology to? Can anyone explain this to me? I know pro/anti social is common phrasing in UK/EU and alignment in AI stuff seems to treat humanity as a whole..

If you're talking about lack of media messaging WITHOUT taking into account the crisis in journalism, especially local journalists in smaller areas, then you're not really looking at the whole picture. www.niemanlab.org/2025/07/new-...
New report maps a “severe” shortage of local journalists in the U.S.
The report from Rebuild Local News and Muck Rack finds that more than 1,000 counties — one out of three in the nation — do not have the equivalent of even one full-time local journalist.
