LRS: Listen, I love Rocky Horror and was even in a stage production of it once, but Phantom of the Paradise deserves the same amount of cult movie fame and it makes me sad that so few people comparatively have seen it.

Anyway, Phantom of the Paradise absolutely fucks, please watch it

Gretzky aside (for reasons I won't get into here), I would absolutely hit a 13% Cab/Merlot blend from Ontario.

If I could find one, that is.

The real Silicon Valley commentary was having a funder be like "you have all the time and money in the world, go nuts," only to suddenly pull the rug and say "actually, now you have to solve immortality for me personally in two weeks or you're cut off."

This is how modern monsters are created.
In the age of AI, Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein gets the monster right:

-Preening college dropout founder desperate to troll and provoke
-Secures financing from war profiteer
-Unethically harvests key materials for startup from people living and dead without consent
-Takes 0 responsibility
Guillermo del Toro's 'Frankenstein' gets the monster right for the age of AI
Too bad he lets the founders off easy.

I ended up in front of Taylor Anderson’s dad at the final of last Olympic curling trials (when she and Sarah were playing with Cory Christensen) and got a terrific running play by play as a result (he’s a coach too iirc).

Good on NBC/Peacock for tracking the stones per end this time, but when did Milano Cortina become Milan Cortina?

(he said, at once probably knowing and not wanting to know the story there)
