Heat's been out at work for three weeks now, temps have reached 16 C/61 F. Employer is working hard on getting the heat restored, which unfortunately satisfies the legal requirements, so we can't just walk out. I'm a solid block of ice.

A plea to everyone (very validly) doing this: please make sure to whitelist your local hospitals (so we can reach you if something happens to a dependant) and your personal medical providers.
During the day I get about three spam/scam calls per hour. I’m not looking for a part-time volunteer position in hanging up the phone, especially when I can instead answer only calls from people I know and not get interrupted and have to get back on track constantly.
my most unpopular opinion is that it's a sign of defective moral character if you point blank refuse to answer phone calls from unknown numbers. it's not that hard to hang up on spam/scammers, and you are probably missing important calls!
