This electric car from BYD has "flash charging" which is megawatt charging to you and me. That means it can dump more than 500 km into the battery in under 5 minutes. This isn't sci-fi. It's real and it exists now. This car also costs only $35k USD here in China.

I'm not an astrophotographer by any means but I was ready in the middle of the night with my telescope & iPhone 14 Pro. Here are my 4 favorite shots. It was quiet, a nice 58º, and the sky was perfectly clear. I hope you got to see the lunar eclipse wherever you are.

What a story.

And sad to see how things have become
Today I sold my Tesla Model 3. It was the last link between me and Tesla, as well as the closing of a significant chapter of my life

Many of you probably don't know this story, so I'll share it here, partly to process the personal significance of this, and party because I want people to know 🧵 1/17

So apparently this is happening to many of 'tsla' fans.

Though they still won't accept that Elon's drama would affect Tesla and have impact on brand.

Batteries start playing a huge role in some energy systems around the world.

Look at California - not long ago you wouldn’t even be able to see the contribution from batteries. Few expected batteries to ever be able to compete.

Today batteries can provide more than 20% of peak load in California.

Trump didn't just pull the US out of the Paris Agreement. His order also aims to effectively end all funding for any climate activities abroad. That is going to cause financial pain for poor countries reeling from climate impacts.
