I thought this was an Onion article at first. You know, because he's been saying it since 2015 and this might have been the 10 year anniversary.

Elon Musk says Tesla FSD will allow 'texting and driving' in 'a month or two'

What a mess. The overturned vehicle sped past us about 15 minutes before we came upon the results of their poor choices. I don't know if anybody was hurt, but the impact on people, property destruction, and time wasted is heartbreaking. It's uplifting to see plenty of people that stopped and helped.

Even though #TeslaFSD has gone down this street a million times, it thought to go around the circle instead of following the path on the navigation to continue down the street.

While the consequences of that action are minimal, it's a reminder to always keep your hands on the wheel and ready.

Wow. Almost no space at the Indio #TeslaSupercharger.

Here we are merging around an incident in Palm Springs. #TeslaFSD was so natural, I almost couldn't believe it. It helps that a lot of the folks around were cooperating.

Anybody see this on their HW4 vehicles? I took it into Tesla and they said it was in preparation for #TeslaFSD v14. Even though we already have 14.1.4, it was "precautionary" for further updates. Weird.

They were great about it and I was in and out in about 15 minutes.

It's difficult to see, but at about the 4 second mark the car wiggles slightly because it's about to change lanes (the blinker was on the whole time).

But #TeslaFSD sees the box in the road and waits until we are passed it to change lanes. It's getting a little better.

Another day navigating traffic downtown. I love how #TesalFSD doesn't fool around. It waits until it's clear and then goes around these cars jammed up in the turn lane.

You can see it hesitates just a little with the pedestrian about to step off the curb but ... you snooze you lose.

So nice to see some real competition and a company that's serious about safety.
October 29, 2025 at 2:28 PM
I think this clip really shows the power of the neural network in play. The pedestrian is starting to cross on the other side of the street, and even though they are obstructed by a number of other vehicles (never shows up on the left pillar), #TeslaFSD slows and waits for them to cross. Amazing.

Boy, Tesla's FSD is looking less and less likely as a viable way forward for that company.

Wow. That's pretty interesting. Glad some companies have a spine although I never would have thought it was Uber.

Downtown Phoenix has a tricky stretch with two one-way streets and bike lanes, but #TeslaFSD handles it impressively.

Here it exits the I-10 smoothly, chooses the correct lane, avoiding the bike lane—something many, many human drivers fail to do.
October 17, 2025 at 9:59 PM
Again, a little amazed that #TeslaFSD knows to go around a car that is making a left, in the left turn lane, but not at the light.
October 16, 2025 at 3:14 PM
Scary and amazing. Here we are crossing the double yellow line, navigating around a car that's in the process of parking.

We will probably never know if #TeslaFSD is this smart or just following the lead of the cars in front.
October 15, 2025 at 3:12 PM
In edge cases like this, I am always amazed when #TeslaFSD can find its way around obstacles downtown, even crossing the lines if it has to.

But probably could've used a cleaner windshield.

This is how you move innovation forward and shows what's possible if that is your core business.

At the same time, shows that #Tesla has a complete lack of innovation or interest in being a car company.

Is this an Onion story? 😆

Somehow, $5 billion for EV charging stations survived Trump's dismantling of President Biden's climate programs. More than 40 states are scrambling to get their hands on the money. The charging stations will encourage more drivers to switch to EVs.

I thought it pretty amazing that Tesla's FSD was able to distinguish both broken down trucks and the vehicle turning left across the intersection and still safely navigate this left turn.
October 8, 2025 at 9:37 PM
Waymo took 18 months to build their autonomous platform and 10 years to productive it.

This is the classic, first 99% doesn’t feel like the next 99%.

Elon Musk’s hubris would never let him think like this.
October 8, 2025 at 6:10 PM
Today, even Tesla owners are jerks to other Teslas. 😆
October 7, 2025 at 4:58 PM
Sometimes #TeslaFSD really does drive like a human as this is exactly what I would have done.

You see the pedestrian coming up to the intersection, hasn't actually gotten there yet. But the car waits for them to see if they cross the street and then moves along as soon as it's clear.

Well done.

“Through September, GM has sold 144,668 EVs, more than doubling (+105%) its sales from the same period last year.”

That’s good, right? 😆
October 2, 2025 at 1:05 AM
There are times when #TeslaFSD does feel like it knows what it's doing ... like in this case where it acts in a courteous manner and lets the Prius cross traffic to make their left hand turn.

FSD Version Watch:

Last update to Tesla's #FSD was May 11, 2025. That was 141 days ago. That's over 4 months.
