Given that Peter Thiel is mentioned in the Epstein Files, this article in @prospectmagazine.co.uk is an important read about his company, Palentir controlling our NHS data. Why is the government not protecting us from companies like this?

I cannot begin to properly articulate how upsetting it is to have had people baselessly accuse trans people of being groomers and pedophiles only for it to come out that they were deliberately doing this as part of a project to provide cover to actual groomers and pedophiles in positions of power

Assistance requested: came across reference to 'English East Indian ship' brought 'a peice [sic] of Lywaet, which is very good' to Cormontine, 23 October 1658 (n.s.). 'Lywaet' (translator's spelling) is unknown to me. Many thanks in advance for any and all advice #earlymodern #maritimehistory

If Goodwin is considered too much of a racist reactionary to be an activist for the racist, reactionary Reform UK, but not too much of a racist reactionary to be intro'd as anything other than a 'presenter, former professor & author' by BBC QT, then what type of organisation does that make the BBC?
Reform UK accused of embracing racism over its pick for head of student organisation
Matthew Goodwin argued people from minority ethnic backgrounds born and raised in UK were not always British

I had been waiting for somebody to explain precisely what the heck was going on with all the various Porsche rumours. Here we go:
(Short answer: some weird hybrid PenskeProton thing might potentially enter WEC, if Porsche don't veto it)

This is me collecting what’s left of my destroyed home 🥺💔 I’m trying to build a small tent beside it before winter comes. I need $500 to buy wood and covers to protect my family from the cold. Please donate — your help means survival for us. 🙏🏻❄️

Fantasy Author: In my book I invented the Sam Vimes theory of socioeconomic unfairness as a condemnation of capitalism.
Capitalists: At long last, we have extended the Sam Vimes theory of socioeconomic unfairness from the classic Pratchett novel to everyone who relies on their own labour to live!
Your home: rented. Your car: leased or paid by the journey. Your software, books, movies, music: subscription only. Appliances: rent-to-buy contracts the same length as the appliance’s designed obsolescence. Etc., etc.

Not allowing ordinary people to own anything, turning the very basics of survival into a month-by-month scramble maximising the economic value (spending) of each person is of course the obvious end point of late stage capitalism.

It goes without saying that Conrad was a Polish-born British author.
Danae was delivered to Poland in place of its sister ship, Dragon, which had been destroyed in an attack by a German midget submarine.

We do this constantly in Britain, usually by saying: “My new book is coming in April! ‘Travesty of Horseshit: How everyone was lying about the catastrophic events, and we all knew but repeated their drivel and kept quiet for five years about the bad stuff’, at all good bookshops RRP £14.99”.
every few years it's revealed that the NYT was sitting on information about some horrific thing that public knowledge of would have changed the country's course and for some reason a ton of people still give them money. you can play those games on other sites

Not seeing this being referred to as a white male grooming gang, which it is.
This article is utterly damning for the New York Times and also for Vanity Fair and ABC, whose editorial teams were apparently intimidated into silence by a mix of legal and violent threats. Virginia Giuffre did not stand a chance against all this.
This story by @davidfolkenflik.bsky.social about Landon Thomas, former NYT reporter now appearing in the latest email tranche, soliciting a $30k contribution from Jeffrey Epstein?

Yes, you can read it here

Peter Thiel is in the Epstein emails, enjoying himself.

Peter Thiel is an overt, convinced, outspoken Nazi.

Peter Thiel's company is being paid by the UK government to crawl all over YOUR personal data.

Oswald Mosley's grandson runs his UK operation.

You can't make it up.
How Palantir infiltrated the state
At a moment of national emergency, the government handed our data to Peter Thiel’s controversial company
