POLIO vaccines should be optional?! POLIO?! Almost nothing about the vileness of this regime surprises me any more, but 'freedom of choice' is one hell of a justification for not mandating a vaccine for a disease that killed and disabled tens of thousands of people between 1900 and 1960.
The leader of the federal panel that recommends vaccines for Americans said shots against polio and measles — and perhaps all diseases — should be optional.

Helps confirm my theory that a huge problem with modern politics is that politicians have no clue about administering systems, whereas one think they do (think they) understand is legislating, so - on a “everything looks like a nail” basis - their solution to every issue is passing more laws
NEW REPORT: the gov’s proposals for judge-only trials will deliver only marginal savings and distract from the real route out of this crisis: reversing recent falls in court productivity.

Nadim Zahawi arrived in the UK from Iraq as a child refugee. His family claimed asylum once they were here. Today he has joined Reform who will stop all in country asylum applications. Under his new party, his own family fleeing persecution would be immediately deported.

For Bluesky to truly work; we need more Traitors chat. It is 100% on Twitter right now. This is obviously indicative of Bluesky failing on cultural chat, but that would include football and I'm not advocating for that to move 😂

The end goal of Grok sexual harassment is to make women afraid to be visible. It’s a punishment for daring to exist in a way the perpetrators can’t control. There’s no one solution to this, because the problem isn’t just technological. It’s cultural. It’s misogyny. This is just one expression of it.

All of this talk about Grok; we also need to identify the fact that it's been driven by a 15 year old boy mentality. It's the sexual aggression of a boy; to humiliate an opponent you make them female, you strip them because they think that's how you humiliate women and dominate them through rape.

I think the AI angle of this is obscurant. It doesn’t matter that grok is “an AI” whatever you take that to mean. Suppose X hired a team of guys to photoshop the clothes off of women and children whenever anyone asks. That’s functionally identical what happening here. It’s not complicated.
A functional country would shut Grok down permanently. Like, immediately. Right now. Last week. Whatever. Just flip the switch. Obviously.

I have obviously spent too much time around the police (professionally) because Amanda in the Traitors spoke for 2 seconds and I said "She's a cop". The fact that none of the rest of them have clocked it is sus. Especially the secret barrister, she fucking knows and they've edited out her saying it

This poster is one of the best on here and I’m so sad we’re losing her because of the appalling harassment she has been subjected to. Of course she must look after herself. And the rest of us need to do whatever we can to challenge and change this cruel, sick, dangerous, culture.
I‘m discontinuing my social media use for the foreseeable future and I want to explain why.

I woke up in the new year to discover that some guy on here had saved photos I took on New Year’s Eve and used Grok to remove my clothes. I know this because he showed me.
