I noticed that! Unforgivable. But again, any decent film critic would know that. So these are not decent film critics.

I'd actually argue that some of the others that people are disputing are comedies. But there's no way that many black and white films would make a list. That's pompous-English-teacher-laughing-at-the-jokes-in-Shakespeare nonsense.

Ok yes, I'm hooked. I could spend MONTHS criticising this list.

I am not convinced these people have actually watched any of these films and they certainly haven't ever written about comedy before. It's the wrong take on every one I've seen. They included a stand-up set, FFS. Ace Venturer has aged like milk, you could have picked ANY other Jim Carrey film.

It was a hard slog getting to this episode. I do begrudgingly respect that they make you work to like this show. But it happened. I like this show against their best efforts to turn me off.

You know how people still bring up that The Sun article about Benjamin Zephaniah.
