I have finished my multi-ending playthrough of Silent Hill f and my verdict is: story and atmosphere great, combat lets it down.

The combat is fine until it isn’t and you’re getting stunlocked by three enemies who will chase you from room to room taking pot-shots at you while you try to counter.

Impossible to have grown up on 80’s and 90’s movies without seeing a Drew Struzan cover. RIP to a great artist.

Quietly asked to move to a different table at the restaurant cause I thought the guy behind me had intense body spray cloud but I think… it was actually the waitress’ perfume.

Love this concise but devastating eagle call reveal. Second only to “geographically improbable loon noises” for things that immediately inflame the ol’ birding lobe of the brain
Thank you to the Alaska Raptor Center for telling the truth that birders already knew: every bald eagle cry you hear in an advertisement is a red-tailed hawk.

Give folks their flowers

No, I mean right now. Go tell someone you loved their work right now. They're on social media just say it, it has never been easier

"They know how much people love--" no they don't go say it right now to a composer or artist or game dev or writer or anyone AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH

More people need to understand that saying only “criminals” should be subjected to expanding state violence around us is what led to the broader public being targeted by it, too. Criminality is subjective, and power determines what it is or is not.

When you hear the stock pot breaking sound effect in a movie or game… surely in the year 2025 there is another sound bite you can use.

I love how AI has made it that now when you do see a cool video of human achievement or nature instead of just enjoying it you also have to wonder if it’s real. It is sucking the life out of everything
