I know it's been said but I keep getting re-infuriated about RFK Jr doing his thing, like we had this vaccines thing *settled*, they rule and they were working and all we had to do was NOT put the worst possible person in charge of the country's public health apparatus.

Being queer in Missouri is exhausting. My state senator, Karla May, who represents one of the most progressive districts in the state, voted to affirm MO's stance on same sex marriage, which is that it shouldn't be allowed. She's a Democrat, by the way. Dems aren't doing enough to keep us safe.

You may wonder why altCDC is so political. Public health is as much about the disease as it is about the society in which that disease occurs. We are battling an admin that wants to dismantle US public health, sow misinformation, devalue science, and cripple our ability to respond to health threats.
