This is exquisite bullshit from Google because turning it off also disables inbox tabs, so every junk email you would automatically file away in Promotions or Updates now makes your phone buzz.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

In 2013 I was on vacation in Mexico and told someone I agreed with them that Obamacare was bad, because they should have gone single payer like I'm used to in Canada. They responded by saying "yeah, but you don't have as many Black people up there, do you?"

I don't understand how the Sportsnet+ ad insertion technology works, but sometimes it knows enough to show me ads for my medium size Canadian city, and other times it shows me ads in French, a language I have not studied for nearly 30 years.

If I understand KBO rules, which I assume also apply to MLB playoff games, if the Mariners don't score in the bottom of the 11th, the game ends in a tie, and then they tie with the Tigers and the Jays have to face both teams? That doesn't seem fair...

I'm only half watching GBBO, but Noel just asked a contestant from the Ukraine if they have flapjacks there, and when told no, he suggests she go back to start up a flapjack business. Yes Noel, flapjacks (which are apparently oat bars over there?) are definitely worth returning to a war zone.
