This is exquisite bullshit from Google because turning it off also disables inbox tabs, so every junk email you would automatically file away in Promotions or Updates now makes your phone buzz.
If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.

From a kayfabe perspective, I feel like leaving the ring in a Blood and Guts / War Games match should be considered surrendering.

Today is a good day to remember, and to say, that the #MeToo movement was right, and was righteous, and has been vindicated over and over again. There was no overreach. There was no excess. There was no they-went-too-far.

So much work remains to be done.

In 2013 I was on vacation in Mexico and told someone I agreed with them that Obamacare was bad, because they should have gone single payer like I'm used to in Canada. They responded by saying "yeah, but you don't have as many Black people up there, do you?"
"Why don't people support welfare programs?"

Racism. More specifically, anti-Blackness.

White folks asked about who welfare serves overestimate the number of Black people on welfare. Not only that, but just the mere THOUGHT of who welfare supports led less white people to support it. #blacksky

Eric Adams is amazing because when he won every media person was leaping over each to go “this is the normal sane leadership that the political left doesn’t understand normal sane Americans crave” and then every day since that Eric Adams has been like “Leprechauns are real and I’m going to cook one”

Ugh, I had all year to come up with a joke about my annual 6-7am Smashburger and I didn't come up with something. Oh well, here's hoping next year is funnier.

They didn't speak English and I think they were speaking one of the Slavic languages, but I had no idea really. I just remember thinking, "Oh, this is what it's like to live in a society. You just help people even if you don't understand them."

I'm calling it and heading to bed. I'll drowsily ask my bedroom spying robot who won in the morning.

I don't understand how the Sportsnet+ ad insertion technology works, but sometimes it knows enough to show me ads for my medium size Canadian city, and other times it shows me ads in French, a language I have not studied for nearly 30 years.

Can the Jays somehow run a salmon race for the people watching at the Skydome and let Humpy win so we can go to sleep?

I'm hoping this wraps up soon, because my Blue Jays fandom is having to compete with my sleep fandom.

If I understand KBO rules, which I assume also apply to MLB playoff games, if the Mariners don't score in the bottom of the 11th, the game ends in a tie, and then they tie with the Tigers and the Jays have to face both teams? That doesn't seem fair...

People say Snorlax is blocking route 12, but then Pokémon just climb on his belly to jump up and down? Why not just climb down the other side?
quote this with some discourse that would happen in the pokemon universe

I'm only half watching GBBO, but Noel just asked a contestant from the Ukraine if they have flapjacks there, and when told no, he suggests she go back to start up a flapjack business. Yes Noel, flapjacks (which are apparently oat bars over there?) are definitely worth returning to a war zone.

I see The View has decided to respond to recent events by declaring that comedy is still legal, and booking a 75-year-old stand-up, mostly telling jokes about his age.
