it's election day and there's important stuff on the ballot in many cities. i want to say as someone who's generally skeptical of the national election cycle and doesn't believe in electoralism as an end unto itself, voting in local elections is SO important. everything that matters happens locally.

First of all, the fact they even have a whole department dedicated to shoving out AI content is incredibly sad.
Second, you're a billion-dollar corporation. You have the funds to pay animators to make an ad straight from the heart, instead of harming the environment.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you have friends struggling through the shutdown, consider inviting them over for a family dinner this week. Make too much. Insist they take leftovers home. Some folks can't say they need help out loud but will appreciate the kindness.
