Iowa Total Care can suck my balls

"No, you can't leave that here."
This “pledge” was literally bullshit. Centene specifically has made ASD services ridiculously harder to get approvals, Elevance has made certain procedures limited to WEEKLY approvals instead of total units, BCBS of TN denies out of state coverage, and on and on. #Liars

Let's talk about midterms, and how healthcare needs to be a serious top priority of democrats in order to stop this fucking terroristic administration.

KFF has released a new poll regarding the thoughts around healthcare. Let's break it down for everyone to understand:

KFF Health Tracking Poll: Health Care Costs, Expiring ACA Tax Credits, and the 2026 Midterms | KFF
Looking ahead to the midterm elections, health care costs are the public’s top economic concern, and many voters say the issue will have a major impact on their vote. On health care issues, including ...

KFF’s tracking poll shows that beyond costs, people view prior authorization as the single greatest burden in navigating the health system.

Alright. I need to drop more weight. I’ve hit a plateau. And gained back more than I’d like to admit.

Anyone available to say mean things to me whenever I want to stress eat or sad eat? Anyone at all?

I hope this lady is found safe.

Since kidnapping is the focus I’d like to address the government sponsored terrorism of masked men running around our country kidnapping and killing men, women, and children (immigrants and citizens alike).

All lives matter, right?

I spent two and a half hours on hold with CareFirst BCBS today chasing down a prior auth.

It was ultimately approved, but Jesus fuck.

What ICE is doing with its horrific assault and ban on immigration absolutely goes hand in hand with the attack on Medicaid, especially for HCBS.

Not because they are using these benefits, but rather because they are supporting them, both through labor and taxes paid.

Hi, hello- as someone who deals with getting ASD services paid for, I can promise you that extensive psychological testing is required in order to meet the DSM-5 requirements for an Autism diagnosis and even when those standards are met they still refuse to pay without a fight so….

Liars lie.
Dr Oz: "Minnesota expected to spend $3 million for autism. It's now $400 million. Why? Because everybody in the community signed their kids up as though they're autistic. Why? You're paying them. These moms literally took bribes to lie that their kids had autism."

To expand on that, people immigrate specifically to work in Healthcare. Doctors and Nurses from other countries come here to practice. Targeting hospitals wont just cost us the health workers we have, it will close off the (completely free!) road we had to get more quickly.
February 3, 2026 at 4:35 PM
Friendly reminder too that 20% of healthcare workers are immigrants- people are avoiding needed care, and providers of that care are also scared to show up.

Allowing ICE to target hospitals is not only immoral, it’s down right dangerous to EVERYONE.

This is a massive crisis, and people will die.
