My mom is a Special Ed Teacher, and I’m a Music Therapist that works with Individuals who have Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
This is absolutely devastating.

Another devastating blow for the disability community as this administration cuts almost every employee responsible for administering funding & oversight for IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act).
Education should be a basic human right..and disabled kids are just as deserving.

Regarding reports the Hurricanes have decided not to sign Michael McLeod … my understanding is the team has reversed course and backed off signing McLeod for now. Could yet change. But as of last night, anyway, no deal is imminent.

You know another way to really voice your concerns besides here? Organize a protest. They are empowering. Inform media. Make signs expressing your valid concerns that you express here. Show up at Lenovo. Especially team/exec entrances. Get in the faces of players, coaches, executives, and owner.
