Good for the Panthers, but that TD catch was a beauty.

Democrats are complicit in making Trump's government. They are not an opposition party.
Some Democrats hate that their party is largely positioning itself in opposition to the operation that resulted in Maduro's capture.

"Everything Trump touches must be bad according to the base," one House Dem told @axios.com

Said another: "It looks weak." www.axios.com/2026/01/04/m...

I don't see what's hard about telling Americans the truth: The aged lying self-obsessed president who tariffed your stuff while blocking the Epstein Files & taking multiple cognitive tests just started a war you didn't ask for, for no coherent reason other than he thinks it makes him look good on TV

For those keeping track at home, so far in 2026—in just 85 hours—members of the Trump administration have threatened to invade or annex or otherwise attack the following countries:

🇨🇺 Cuba
🇨🇴 Colombia
🇬🇱 Greenland
🇮🇷 Iran
🇨🇦 Canada

This derangement puts Kim Jong-un to shame.

Palace just don't have the players to keep up the pace of 3-4 leagues this season on top of key injuries. My real concern is the longer this continues the less likely we could convince Glasner to stay.

Some journalists get into it because they want to hold powerful people to account, while others just want powerful people to take their phone calls.
From the perspective of reporting the news, it doesn’t strike me that there is a functional difference between a president who answers the phone at 4:30am in the morning but doesn’t answer a reporter’s questions, versus a president who doesn’t agreed to be interviewed.

The rich are trying to figure out how to make the trolley go faster.
Can’t pull the lever to stop the trolley. The trolley has rich people on it and it lets them go so fast!

I want them to do their fucking jobs, instead of acquiescing to all the bullshit while securing their own financial gains.
"What do you want the Dems to DO exactly?" is kicked dog behavior. Elected officials are not meant to do insider trading and occasionally give a 4/10 speech about civility. They are an expression of the values of those they represent, you're damn right I expect up to and including physical action.

The official Democratic response to Venezuela is that "Trump lied to us in briefings so we demand more briefings. Also, it's a distraction."

This is who you're defending?

Weird, it's about enriching Trump's friends and not drugs.

Shocker
Trump: "We're going to have our very large United States oil companies go in, spend billions of dollars, fix the badly broken infrastructure and start making money for the country. And we are ready to stage a second and much larger attack if we need to do so."

Marco Rubio is reportedly saying Maduro will stand trial in US courts.

Which means it’s now the US administration’s position that US courts can hold foreign presidents, but not the US president, accountable for crimes.

Everyone still enjoying their MAGA athletes?

Still ignoring the destruction of our entire way of life so you can watch sports 10 hours a week?

Enjoy pretending their politics don’t matter?

So, again, the Admin knows what it’s doing is unconstitutional.
"But Wiles conceded that attacking targets on Venezuela’s mainland would force Trump to get congressional approval. 'If he were to authorize some activity on land, then it’s war, then [we’d need] Congress.'"
