As much as I'll miss Arrowhead, I'm currently amusing myself by realizing that some poor White House staffer is going to have to spend the rest of their day explaining to Donald Trump that the Kansas City Chiefs weren't already in Kansas

As someone who went to and works at NC State and previously covered high school sports in Wilson, I've seen Jim Hunt's impact many times over. Rest in peace to a leader who made a massive impact on this state.

Some news to share: After 25 years, today was my final day at the N&O. I moved to Chicago in October, but I was commuting and working remotely until the paper ended that agreement as of today.
I knew when we moved the end was near. That was my choice. It was time. I just wish it wasn’t so abrupt.
