Trying to decide if I need to stay up until midnight to tell you that in Wales they don’t celebrate Valentine, they celebrate Dwynwen who wanted to be away from [a specific man] Maelon so SOULFULLY, she literally walked on water until an angel agreed to turn him into ice

She felt bad about it, so:

He's had more clubs than Tiger Woods and the particular honour of having been hired and sacked by Udinese twice in just over eighteen months. It's his tenth managerial appointment in ten years (not counting an assistant period at Juventus). This is a Watford FC managerial career path par excellence
Even if it is only for 12 league games, appointing Igor Tudor as interim manager is the biggest decision Vinai Venkatesham and Johan Lange will take at Tottenham.

There is no margin for error.

Trying what RPG to run next quarter. Too much fantasy and someone's running Star Wars so don't want to run Star Trek. So that points towards horror. I've got an Alien scenario half-written I could use but I just read Starve Acre so leaning more towards something folk horror. But I can't decide.

Having an off morning so watching a random Avengers episode.

A man in fancy dress with a giant pig's head. A little old lady killing people with knitting needles. Plus Bernard Cribbins. Feels very typical of my memory of the series.

Kat passed her Life in the UK test, and I'm obviously pleased.

Forest fans, as someone who has experienced multiple three-manager seasons: it doesn't end well.

See also "Poor people don't know how to budget". Motherfucker, nobody knows how to do it better. Because they have literally no choice.
"Female brains are bad at math" but ask a married heterosexual man to balance his own checkbook or how much his household utilities cost and see what happens
the people who spread the “female brains are bad at math and spatial reasoning” lies should be tried at the Hague

8.5 episodes in and The Terror: Infamy is a weird beast. I found myself far more interested in the potential of the internment storyline than the horror aspect: the show seems to feel the same, spending quite a lot of time on internment stuff entirely unconnected to what is presented as the A story

Watching Match of the Day and Wolves give away two absolutely stupid penalties, the second one even more inexplicable than the first. What's he pushing the fella for?

Without naming your job, tell me something you say over and over again at work.

This ITV thing of merging a quiet period of the game with an ad is horrible. Either cut to an ad or don't.

There is an incredibly enthusiastic woman at this samurai exhibition at the British Museum. The staff are very polite but clearly aren't interested in her knowledge. I want us to be friends and talk to each other about things we love with little or no ability to gauge each other's lack of interest

The Speak With Dead scene has happened to almost every group I have ever played with (especially with me as GM, who used to always play the unhelpful witness in BVC advocacy classes).
Honestly i just want more of that D&D movie the entire industry seems to want to forget about because they accidentally made a film too charming and now people have experienced a pleasant time and have expectations
