Never been talked out of buying something faster than by my daughter telling me the brown furry coat i was trying on looked like a hedgehog. IT ABSOLUTELY DID.

Interesting parenting development in that the very nearly 6 year old got into my bed and spent 3 hours just periodically saying "presents" to me in my sleep, in what I can only assume is subliminal messaging.

I miss how dating used to be. You didn't have to use Tinder. You could just acquire a toad to carry around from the swamps. If you wanted to kiss him & turn him into a prince, you could. And if not, you still had a nice toad companion. Simpler times.

Kids have been in school for 2 weeks and are now sick for the 3rd time (ok one kid only got sick twice but). I am also sick. This is our life now, until next summer. I hate it.
