surgical masks haven't worked in like five years fwiw, neither do cloth masks, if you ever see me at a convention and i have my backpack i will have a kn95 for you for free, i just want you to be safe

An opinion that I have that is not connected to anything is that any creating being done is good. Everyone should create, it's good for the brain. You don't have to make masterpieces, you don't even have to ever show anyone else just do it. Draw a doodle, contemplate a unique world, sing a song.

A few months ago, I read a study that predicted that 90% of new content on the web in 2026 would be generated by AI.
All I can say is that I will continue to be human. It took me two days to write my 2026 sci-fi calendar, whereas AI could have done it in 10 seconds (but probably not as well), but...
