It's also misinformation. with what the US spends on healthcare. a simplified single payer administrring plans across 50 states would eliminate 20% of what we spend right off the bat in waste and inefficiency.

Personally, I like the idea that in order to pardon certain crimes, the pardoner gas to take their place.
the ability to pardon people for any federal crime and the willingness of GOP presidents to do this has started changing my mind on my “no death penalty for any reason” position.
