As someone who gathered that information as part of the Current Population Survey for the Census, I know exactly how this shit works. Any "permanent damage" to the data stream is ENTIRELY self inflicted.

The US #Senate is the world's worst deliberative body.
The only way this Republic can be saved is to have it taken out back and shot in its present form. It must be replaced with a representative body, not a 1660-1832esque version of England's House of Lords.

...and that might not even be harsh enough given the real stakes. I must point out how incredibly absurd it got, to have Cuomo the Lesser simultaneously pitching "only I can stand up to Trump the Worst Human on the Planet!" while weakly absorbing Trump's spirited endorsement.
This isn't a closing election argument, it's Vidkun Quisling explaining why surrender is better than resistance.
