Bicycles.

Punk rock didn't save the world, but it should have.

I try to stay on topic, but you're going to get random posts about housing, gardening, preserving/canning, dogs, and baseball.

Look, all I want is for everyone to make 25% of the 50% of trips that are less than 3 miles by something other than car.

I know people don't like word problems, but just take your bike once in awhile.
Lol, I thought with this headline you were going to be able to get a Double Double at Dodger Stadium.

But, no.

(And when I lived in Goleta in the 80s I don't remember eating at Habit. I do remember driving to Camarillo for In-N-Out.)

I was just lamenting to myself the irrelevancy of popular music in this day and age, but here's a protest song to alleviate that.
Four-time Grammy Award nominee Jesse Welles performs his song "Join Ice."

Bob Dylan once said a single folk singer could defeat an entire army. Ladies and gentlemen, I think we have our man.

Having a late nightcap of Ardbeg Smokiverse to celebrate Burns Night.

It reminds me of a more mature version of the 10.

Walz: I would just give a pro tip to the AG. There's 2 million documents in the Epstein files we're still waiting on. Go ahead and work on those

I don't want to promote violence, but, my god, Kash has a face you just want to punch.
Kash Patel: "You cannot bring a firearm, loaded, with multiple magazines to any sort of protest that you want. It's that simple. You don't have a right to break the law." (Pretti was carrying a gun legally.)

Lot of anger today, but it's good to remember the words of Joe Strummer...

"'Cause it won't get you anywhere
Foolin' with the guns
The British Army is waitin' out there
An' it weighs fifteen hundred tons"

Let's trade California for Alberta.
Alberta separatism isn’t about independence. It’s about becoming the 51’st state. Trump’s eyeing Alberta. Separatists are helping him.

Masked ICE militia can’t replace the Mounties.

AOC: An agency that is attacking U.S. citizens, kidnapping five-year-olds and using them as bait, and privately circulating the idea that they can violate the rights of Americans by busting down their doors—they deserve to be defunded, and I’ll take any step in that direction.

Goddamned Democrats.
DHS spending bill passed 220-207

7 Democrats voted in favor:
Henry Cuellar
Don Davis
Laura Gilles
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez
Jared Golden
Vicente Gonzalez
Tom Suozzi

Massie voted No
Andy Harris didn't vote

Might not have passed if every Democrat voted No, but leadership wasn't whipping them to do so

A reminder that if Trump dies or gets removed from office, this lying bag of shit takes over.
JD Vance: "Nobody is talking about doing immigration enforcement without a warrant. We're talking about different types of warrants that exist in our system. Typically in the immigration system, those are handled by administrative law judges. So we're talking about getting warrants from them."

Me. I don't want a robot to watch kids and certainly not take care of my dogs.

And I already have robots. They do my laundry, wash my dishes, and vacuum. Musk and the rest of these tech bros fundamentally miss what an everyday robot is.
Robots to watch your kids. Sounds like his kind of parenting.
