Bicycles.

Punk rock didn't save the world, but it should have.

I try to stay on topic, but you're going to get random posts about housing, gardening, preserving/canning, dogs, and baseball.
Admittedly, it was hard to get into many accidents when it wouldn't start.

This is a real official looking sign closing part a my local bike trail for 2 months.

They would never close a road for 2 months with a shitty little sign like this.

Whenever the idea of breaking California in 2 comes up, the idea that the inland areas are conservative is floated.

For Southern CA, that's not true. Imperial, Riverside, and San Bernardino handedly are passing Prop 50.

Riverside and SB are the 4th & 5 most populous counties in the state.

Took a pic of bike parking today because I seldom see other bikes. Unfortunately, one of these bikes despite having 2 locks, isn't locked to anything.

Read the room @electronicbikeshop.bsky.social. I think every Surron should be sent to the crusher.

43,000 Americans are killed by motorists every year. 2.4 million are injured. 3 children every day die on our roads.

About 250 die on transit.

That should deter people from driving.

So we were out walking the dogs tonight, downtown on the pedestrian mall. A Tesla blew through this stop sign at 30 mph to pull into the parking garage the next block. I followed him to yell at him, but he didn't bat an eye.

The attendant said Tesla drivers are the worst.

But bikes are the problem

I had just gotten it in this pic, so it has all the spacers...

Don't mind the dog, but here's my modern linoleum.

This seems to say that only new Tier I stops will be eligible.

I really hate the way these bills are written. We need to flow chart this shit.

Just to clarify, because I'm confusing different things.

Amtrak and HSR don't count

And here's another when they built a gate blocking the entire trail access.

I managed to get the city to fix this.

As a former government employee, I'm ashamed of stupid some of my fellow civil servants are. I would love to know the thought process behind this

Here's one from a few years ago when my city put road furniture in the middle of a downhill on the Santa Ana River Trail

(Which quickly got ripped out)
