It’s very very frustrating to know that there isn’t much chance of any accountability for this behavior after Trump
ICE detain father shopping on Christmas Eve—then steal his family's groceries.

Then 3 agents divvy up his paid for food—taking what they want for themselves.

"Can I just get the wife's number to call and let her know?" woman asks.

"No, guess he should've complied," agent says.

271,000 people have lost their jobs and federal spending has ctually increased. So people get less services, while we added debt paying for private jets for Kristi Noem, bulletproof cars for Kash Patel. This is what the rust belt voters demanded.

This Christmas the real Scrooges are corporations that raked in record profits this year and paid their CEOs millions of dollars but still deny workers a living wage and benefits.

Stop victim blaming, start politician, infrastructure and lawmakers "blaming".

By making it convenient & comfortable for 'peggers to access their city on foot, bike & bus, families could begin to shed vehicles. It costs Canadians $8-12,000 a year to commute via vehicle.

Imagine if we went back to the "family car" days instead of a car for everyone of driving age....

No mention by Brodbeck of the idiotic decision to follow through on Pallister's tax cuts. And then even worse, cut the gas tax, terrible environmental policy that bloats the deficit.

He's also responsible for raising all the money that paid for bringing Hollingsworth v. Perry & even more importantly Bostic v. Schaefer, which created the circuit split that forced SCOTUS to take on Obergefell v. Hodges. The role he played in American marriage equality cannot be overstated.
The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

Thank you Ahmed.

If 30 kph is the safe speed around our schools then it is also the safe speed for our residential streets. If we want to allow kids to have the freedom to move around their neighbourhoods we need to make them safe. @safespeedswpg.bsky.social
For children walking or cycling to school, "outside the school" is the least dangerous part of their journey. Children need 20mph limit protection on the whole of their home to school route. 20mph "just outside schools" contemptuously disregards duty of care on child mobility
School gate risk
We support those communities that want 20mph where peopleare

People want a new pipeline like they want a pony. It's very different once it's in your own back yard, shitting everywhere.
I'd still like to see what these numbers look like -- particularly in BC -- if there's a specific proposal on the table and it's faced with significant opposition, but still fair to say the pipeline proponents are starting from a decent place

I imagine how much fun those kids are having. How much sensory input they're getting, being immersed in the world, feeling the weather, really seeing their town. That precious time close to their parent or caretaker.

I don't have a car and ride all kinds of bikes, depending on the situation. I love love love seeing parents and kids on ebikes. I see them having the best time and overhear the best snippets of conversation.

As we all pass the cars stuck in traffic.

The ebike backlash pisses me off.
I wish we weren't having a bullshit ebike moral panic. This is how I prefer to travel, even in the cold, as my time is valuable. This is how we take our kids to school. We're faster than the cars since we're not space hogs. #BikeNYC.

Trump fucks over farmers
Trump bails out farmers
Everyone (including those who didn't vote for Trump) pay for it

Sounds logical #America ? 🤔
Two Trump Terms, Two Farmer Bailouts! It’s Absurd And We Shouldn’t Have To Pay For It….

I don't want my tax dollars going to bail out Farmers For Trump. Their vote is what bankrupted them. All of a sudden they want a socialist handout, well the rest of us suffer under his policies? 🙄

Never forget, if you design a city for cars, it fails for everyone, including drivers.

If you design a multi-modal city that makes walking, biking & public transit attractive options, it works better for everyone, including drivers.

INCLUDING DRIVERS.

The “war on cars” has always been a lie.
