Starmer: "Denmark is a close ally in Europe, it is a NATO ally. Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark are to decide the future of Greenland, and only Greenland and the Kingdom of Denmark."

Fears Starmer is going to do the only sane thing possible given the utterly predictable catastrophe of Brexit and the equally dire global situation.
Imagine, given what is happening right now, being "afraid" of getting closer to the only power-centre that has not abandoned reason, democracy, and the rule of law. ~AA

Well, in dire times this has put a smile on my face. Armando will be a particular joy on the most joyful programme on telly. 🙂
So, in stark contrast to everything else that’s going on today, I’m delighted to announce I’ll be with this joyous bunch of people in the next #Taskmaster. Let Counting-Backwards-From-Fifty-While-Miming -Your-Least-Favourite -Farm-Animal Commence! youtu.be/1OP6DuihCnk?...

It's not patriotism, it's subservience... and hugely embarrassing. I hope Jack is on television tomorrow to provide a voice for decency amongst the usual suspects who will parrot blandishments and refuse to call out international piracy for what it is!
Starmer and Farage both drape themselves in flags but once again it's really clear where their loyalty really is.

It's Trump first. They will always be on the side of the super rich and powerful - no matter how heinous the crime.

This is not patriotism. It's subservience.

Right then world leaders, what are you going to do about this outrageous act of aggression and totally unjustified invasion?

Let's see who the morally courageous countries are and which ones are craven cowards.

Thoughts with the population of Venezuela, who are under attack by a violent aggressor.
Tonight, the President of the United States has launched an unconstitutional war of aggression, dooming another generation to spill their blood for oil, and lay waste to a sovereign nation.

I demand that Congress exercise its power, halt this conflict, and impeach this war criminal president.

Finally got around to ordering a new sofa and had it delivered today. Great... but I hadn't realised it was self assembly. 😮

It was supposed to take two people 15 minutes...safe to say it took one clumsy person a lot longer than that 😲

Recovering on said sofa now. 🙂

It can't happen soon enough, we must #RejoinEU now!
Just a gif of the EU flag projected onto the London Eye as part of Mayor Sadiq Khan's London's New Year's Day fireworks 😀

The UK is £90 billion a year poorer because of Brexit i.e. tax rises and spending cuts, it's absurd

One day soon the madness will end and the UK will #RejoinEU ☺️

I was privileged to see her at Burnley Mechanics in 2013. She only did one gig in UK that year & nobody could understand why she came to a small venue in a small town. Turned out her sis is a huge Brontë fan so she played a gig for us so she could take her to nearby Haworth. What a lovely person. ❤️

You can't appease these people. Give them something and they just demand more and more.

Obviously we should never have left the EU, but this is another prime example of why we need to rejoin the EU now!

Wow. In what serious country would an elected representative admit that they sought office in that country to serve the interests of another country?

That's insane. Surely he should be removed from his position as a minimum. 😮

People seem shocked that Kiss are happy to receive an award from Trump. It doesn't surprise me at all. As a lifelong rock and metal fan I've never understood the liking for Kiss and I've never owned any of their records. They're paint by numbers musicians like Nugent and Kid Rock, average and bland.
