This has also been a productive year for my political development, mainly in that it killed my last remaining attachment to liberalism and my belief in the US as a symbol of progress, while fostering a newfound sense solidarity with Latin America and the global south in general! Which is positive!

Windows being terrible is not unprecedented. What IS unprecedented is that this is the first time when only a single version is supported.

8 came out and you could stick to 7. Vista came out and you could stick to XP. Now? Nothing.
