yep. i can identify any number of structural issues but at the end of the day the basic problem is the republican party. this has been apparent for at least 20 years. it is also an incredibly unpopular observation to make among “serious” people.

I want the Lions to go the Super Bowl and win not just for me and all of the beleaguered fans, but because the league hates the Lions and will step in the way every chance they get. The team looked bad tonight, but that last penalty…. Let the game play out.

My friend, Andy Isaac comes to mind regarding our feelings about the Bears.
With the Lions' loss, the Bears are in first place in the NFC North 🐻
The last time Chicago was in first place this late in the season was in 2018.
