Autism is a natural divergence from neurotypicality. It's normal & not the tragedy these clowns are making it out to be.

Transness is a natural divergence from cisnormativity. It's normal & not the tragedy these clowns are making it out to be.

Just deal with people being different than you.

Leading national political reporters vowed that never again would they look the other way when a president was showing every sign of being too debilitated to do the job

Congress could end this fascist regime immediately. If our government worked the way it was supposed to, as it was designed to by the Founding Fathers, impeachment would be unanimous. Yet loyalty to a party has blinded our legislators to their duty to our country as written in the Constitution.

“In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Those affected receive a small apartment & counselling with no preconditions. 4 out of 5 people affected make their way back into a stable life. And all this is CHEAPER than accepting homelessness.”

It costs a lot less to house people.
Finland ends homelessness and provides shelter for all in need - scoop.me
In Finland, the number of homeless people has fallen sharply. Why? The country applies the "Housing First" concept agains homelessness.

Do you realize how crazy it sounds to complain that comedians are making fun of the president more than they make fun of other people?

Yes, the most powerful, most famous person is a more common target of mockery than some legislator in the opposition party. Why would you possibly find that odd?

The debate around what is or isn’t “cancel culture” really just obscures a simple truth that it’s BAD to be massively racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic and it’s GOOD to speak out against injustice. Some things are good and some things are bad and it’s okay to say which you think are which.

I guess I don’t understand the whole “If we abandon our values we’ll win elections” thing. Kind of seems like it misses the point but I’m just an actor.

It also ignores that leaving was a form of influence! Millions sent a clear message about the minimum standards of fairness and respect we believe are foundational for civic conversation. Their obsession with our departure makes clear it was effectively communicated; they just don't like it
i will concede that if you want to influence other people addicted to X, X is worth using. but if you want to influence the actual public, text-based social media is a fool's errand.
One of the biggest mistakes left-of-center pundits and influencers made was decamping to Bluesky. They made themselves irrelevant, shrunk their audiences, and dramatically lessened the positive impact they could have on our public debate at the precise time we needed it most.

Dana Carvey parodied George HW Bush on SNL — “Nah, wouldn’t be prudent” — the President called him up and they became friends. .

Daryl Hammond imitated Clinton through his Presidency, including savage stuff during his sex scandal. Clinton invited him to do a “dueling Presidents” gag.
President Johnson, in a November 9, 1968 letter to the Smothers Brothers:

“It is part of the price of leadership of this great and free nation to be the target of clever satirists . . . May we never grow so somber or self-important that we fail to appreciate the humor in our lives.”

Democrats need to seriously consider an impeachment inquiry into now-Judge Emil Bove if/when they take back the House.

He led the brazenly corrupt Eric Adams quid pro quo.

He facilitated the Tom Homan bribery cover-up.

And there’s probably more! He was Trump’s hatchet man at DOJ for months!
lol. Emil Bove intervened. The guy that Senate Republicans just confirmed for a lifetime position on the federal bench.

There is no world in which it is normal for the president to publicly call upon his attorney general to hurry up and prosecute his political foes. It’s like the Watergate tapes but posted on social media. Let’s get a grip on what’s happening here.

As DHS Secretary, Kristi Noem is protected by the Secret Service.
