i need to admit something. the more i think about how many of our problems are downstream of a very small number of ppl and organizations hoarding all the wealth and power, the less interested i am in discussions of american democracy that prefer to focus on anything else.

I think a big part of what’s happening with the trump regime is they’re learning the hard way that Fox News and their group chats are not reflective of reality. Rubber is now hitting the road globally in terms of the actual effect of the “solutions” they been psyching themselves up about for decades

How did we go from fear of apocalyptic over population to fear of apocalyptically low birth rates, while also living though apocalyptically low housing availability for the either too many or not enough people? What the fuck is even real anymore?

Ppl talk a big game about supporting those with mental health issues. But faced with someone with MH issues acting erratically and aggressively, they mock and chastise and say mental health issues are no excuse for acting like an asshole. So you can only have MH problems if you’re polite about it.

This halftime show is great. Defiantly joyful and exuberantly human. A celebration of working class and of love and of spirit. And in doing so, it is remarkably political. The statement - we are humans and we are beautiful and you can never take our spirit.

Any philosophy built on constant exponential growth is impossible. These pigs all need to learn the word "enough," or there will be nothing left of any industry.

At the same time, the extent of the Washington Post layoffs highlight how it didn't matter how hardworking, loyal, smart, collaborative, award-winning, competitive, knowledgeable and devoted so many of the staff were. It wasn't enough to prevent being laid off by one of the richest men in the world.
