One thing that gave me hope today was seeing flyers in the lobby of our vet’s office with immigration resources. Over the past few months as I’ve visited local bakeries, my favorite comic shop, sports bar, library, church, and now the vet, I have seen whistles and resources for community organizing.

Reminder: ICE has absolutely =NO= authority to make traffic stops. They have =NO= right to detain U.S. citizens. They have =NO= right to try to force entry into vehicles. And as public servants operating in public, they have =NO= right to tell you not to observe and/or record them.

The reason copaganda is so insistent that you CANNOT do anything illegal is twofold: it means the government is infallible, because if it's doing anything, that must be legal; and it makes you pliable, because you're programmed to believe you couldn't violate even unjust laws.
