meanwhile.... medicine has taken INSANE leaps and bounds in the last 2 years.
we're out here curing HIV and leukemia and creating 100% efficacy vaccines against all sorts of cancers, and now this??

between this and renewable energy outstripping fossil fuels in efficiency, the future is bright
Wanna see real-life miracles? Fund scientific research.

A team of US scientists just cured Alzheimer’s in mice — and there is now hope that the disease can be reversed in humans.

I keep thinking how cool KOG was and how we've given so much control to corporations.

Make Dope Shit. Create. Say something about the world around you in an effort to see or inspire change.

You are a vessel for what is inside you. Channel it into making something good.

Discovering the origins of the ubiquitous ice cream truck song (”Turkey in the Straw”) was absolutely a disconcerting and eye opening moment
Or rather, their designs are undeniably rooted in the history of it.

Very few things in this country exist without a racism behind it or adjacent to it.

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

We should not care or reward Disney for this. We must make their bottom line hurt for even considering doing something like this. Don't let up. Other companies need to see that bowing to fascism is not something you can do without consequence.

The Raggedy Ann movie is such a great showcase of character acting and different weight to the characters - Anne and Andy FEEL like plush dolls in the way they move, not to mention capturing the way their fabric moves in relation to that.
Fuck it idunno here's some stills of Andy that I like

Adjusted for inflation Spirited Away cost $22 million to make. The Triplets of Belleville cost $16.5 million, Cartoon Saloon's Wolfwalkers cost $14.28 million, and Oscar winner Flow cost only $4 million. These critically acclaimed, made by real people films, cost less than this pile of actual vomit.
OpenAI confirms they're helping make an AI-generated movie called 'Critterz'

• Goal is to finish production in 9 months
• Budget is ~$30M
• Plan is to debut the film at Canne
• 'Paddington 3' writers penned the script
• Art will be fed into Chat GPT 5 and other image models

Hi authors! Please remember to file a claim!
AI advocates have warned that if every author in the class action filed a claim, it would "financially ruin" the entire industry.

one very real, concrete way to help feed Gaza right now is through donating to World Central Kitchen
WCK’s mobile bakery in Gaza is currently producing 45,000 loaves of bread every day. With more supplies, including flour and fuel, we'd be able to more than double that daily output and support more Palestinian families in need. #ChefsForGaza
