When Disney replaced Bugs Land at DCA with the Avengers Campus, we were tasked with building a working prop that Ant Man or the Wasp could carry around with them. I built all the rides, the restroom and a vending cart and we printed them out really, really tiny. There were two used at the park.

Disney has a long history of being embarrassed by some of its best stuff just because it's on the dark side. It's really a shame that they didn't promote this as much as things later.

#25YearsAgoTodayAtDisneyland (11/6/2000) Disneyland raised its ticket prices by $2, to $43 for adults and $33 for children.

Two annual passes went up by $10, but the Premium AP remained at $199.

Fake Disney+ account named, “he took my Space Couple away,” with a profile picture of Reed from Marvel’s “The Fantastic 4: First Steps.” In May, Disneyland started its 70th anniversary celebration; two years prior, their “Throwback Nite” event reintroduced many vintage opening-day characters to a new generation of Guests, including the Tomorrowland Space Couple, who were given extensive, original lore and charming personalities not present in their original 1955-1965 incarnations. A week after the actual 70th anniversary of the park, the Fantastic Four received merchandise displays, a meet & greet, and a projection show in Tomorrowland, while the Space Couple and other “Throwback Nite” elements were not even acknowledged in any form. As the Space Couple is OPs favorite character, he is greatly disappointed and bitter that Disney listened to people who wanted a retrofuturistic “Fantastic Four” Tomorrowland instead of utilizing the Space Couple, as OP saw tons of promise in them upon meeting them at “Sweethearts’ Nite”
