Before flying home, I stopped by the still thriving shrine to Adam Da Woo. I never had the pleasure of meeting this pioneer of vlogging, but I have come to know those who loved and were inspired by him. I feel their pain and know the loss is a profound one. Travel well, Adam. Perhaps we'll yet meet.

I grew up watching The Ghost Busters on Saturday morning. Tracy the Gorilla was my favorite. Years later I got to meet good ol' Bob Burns the man inside that suit. I was over the moon.

I’ve been feeling pretty darn good about documentary filmmaking being safe from generative AI. Most people want realism vs. digital fakery in their non-fiction entertainment, right?
Then I hear about Glenn Beck and his AI George Washington. Ugh!
Or is Beck about to prove my point / hope?

Arcades are way different than in my day. My nephew and I stopped by Round 1 in Burbank. The place had me with these Godzilla games.
