I don't want to celebrate how Ilhan Omar was ready to throw down. Tired of valorizing Black women as fighters, that dude should have been stopped and stomped out before he got close to her.

The political system largely treats people like small-dollar ATMs that vote every 2 years. Everybody gets deluged with emails asking for money. It feeds cynicism and burnout. Rarely do you get a "help me organize our community" email.

If they ban whistles switch to cowbells. It'll be fun for all the Gen Xers.

Because we need more cowbell.

Mutual aid for preventing evictions and homelessness among people impacted by ICE raids is absolutely critical right now.

A list of Minnesota-based rent relief funds can be found here:

It’s about time.
Donald Trump must fire Kristi Noem immediately.

Or Democrats will initiate impeachment proceedings against her in the House.

We can do this the easy way or the hard way.

I continue to believe that the fastest way to get Stephen Miller fired is to convince Trump that Miller's ICE operations are what cost him the Nobel Peace Prize.

CO friends - @kylec.bsky.social out here dong the work & showing us the way. Our turn now - start calling Reps & Senators!
We dedicated much of tonight's program to an in-depth look at what Colorado is doing to prevent - and prepare for - President Trump's violent crackdown by federal forces potentially coming to Colorado. This is a thread of those reports.

We need to remember and act on this
People have had to sacrifice every aspect of their stability to hide from ICE. They lost jobs. They closed businesses. They used up every last bit of their savings—if they had any to begin with. And some people were taken anyway.

If ICE leaves tomorrow, there will still be communities in crisis.

Y'all better check this out and vote accordingly. The sheriff you elect - or allow to be elected through your indifference - might be the one who allows ICE to kill you, your wife, your kid or a dedicated local nurse, in the street.
NEW: There are 2,400+ elections for DA & sheriff this year.

These matter hugely to criminal justice & policing—including: *these are often officials who decide ICE collaboration.*

So I took a dive into these 2,400+ races to identify early hotspots and battlegrounds.

Read, & check out our maps:

The flu and covid are running around, wearing a mask is a public health measure as well as a privacy one. But if you must skip masking, juggalo face paint may help defeat facial recognition.
Everything they learned in Minnesota they’re applying in Maine from day one. They started off doing fast-moving snatch and grabs on the street, recording and using facial id on observers, and threatening observers directly. They’ll do it all where you live too.
Why is the msm outside of Maine not covering this? It seems like a huge and very troubling story to me. ICE coming to observers houses or calling them on the phone warning them to back off??!! www.pressherald.com/2026/01/23/i...

ICE murdered Renée Good in broad daylight. Less than 3 weeks later, they killed Alex Pretti, shooting him 10 times. Every day, we watch as people are ripped from their cars, their homes, their lives.

We can't allow ourselves to look away from this cruelty. Abolish ICE.
