I really hate it when scientists keep saying that “we need to rebuild trust in science,” because it implies that scientists are to blame for the mistrust rather than the millions of dollars of dark money that have funded political attacks on science in order to advance a far right agenda.

The truth is, the COP process has been broken for years

They can still barely bring themselves to utter the words fossil fuels, despite the fact that this year, they will be responsible for 38 billion out of 41 Billion tonnes of CO2

Cop30 was meant to be a turning point, so why do some say the climate summit is broken?
Swamped by lobbyists and hobbled by a lack of urgency, there are fears Cop could become a sprawling spectacle that betrays those who depend on it most

The Planning Bill is back in Parliament today.‼️

From the start, it’s been controversial: risking damage to precious wildlife and habitats.

Peers reduced some of those risks.

Now MPs get to vote: keep those protections, or strip them out.

This is a must watch for anyone looking to understand how we got to be so privileged here in England… & why we MUST now do all we can to repair. The cruel impact of plunder, colonisation, slavery and domination by elites continues to this day. When we understand the history… how can we not be moved?
