i can't figure out what makes bowlan's slider good... all the models like it but i thought 86 mph gyro slider is a pretty run of the mill pitch these days. steepish approach angle from the high slot is best i can do. help

the m's attitude toward 3B this offseason makes a lot more sense if they think they can get 2.5 WAR while paying the league minimum. i am not as optimistic
