note to Chris Minns - the AFP arrested a nazi on suspicion of misogynistic threats of violence. They already had this power. So do NSW Police. Along with mile wide discretion to decide when it is politically expedient to exercise said powers. But sure, give em more.

the proposition Minns has landed on - and I first saw it expressed by high profile zionist Alex Ryvchin - is that NSW Police choosing not to challenge, stop or criminalise nazis being nazis at NSW Parliament can be singularly reversed by giving police more powers.

not to put too fine a point on it - after all it was NSW Police who investigated and rejected ALP politician-zionist claims about Opera House chants and a Dural caravan and Mossad says and what-not - but there is an obvious flaw with tasking NSW Police with solving white supremacy racists.

Minns prattles away as tho he has learnt from passing three (3) racial and religious criminal laws earlier this year in response to a hoax. Parts of the “Place of Worship” amendment to the Crimes Act were struck down as unconstitutional. All these laws task <NSW Police> with stopping racism.

NSW Premier says he does not apologise for [yet more] hate speech laws - the first three versions did not, on any measure, reduce racism in NSW - after NSW Police chose not to criminalise any of the nazis chanting nazi slogans at NSW Parliament on 8 Nov 2025.

I’ll be honest, I’m not finding this constant stream of “we have unfortunately misled you” by the NACC very reassuring
Defence inspector inadvertently omitted 10 consultations with NACC chief
A previous disclosure that the head of the federal corruption watchdog had been consulted 11 times has been corrected to 21.

62% of Israelis, and 73%(!) of Jewish Israelis, said they'd oppose Palestinian statehood, even if it's coupled with normalization with Saudi Arabia.
The Israeli public (not just government) and the rest of the world seem to be moving in 2 very opposite directions. www.jpost.com/israel-news/...
Israeli poll shows strong opposition to Palestinian state | The Jerusalem Post
Among Jewish Israelis, opposition is even higher at 79%, up from 76% in the previous JCFA poll. This marks the highest level of Jewish-Israeli opposition in its tracking since the war began.

The thing about the government bailing out genAI when the bubble pops, is it can't.

It's almost half the US stock market. It is bigger than consumer spending.

The government would have to spend like half its entire budget, on something that loses billions of dollars a month, forever.
