A human, on a dying planet, trying to change that. Never give up, stay angry & smash this system. Oh and my brain, doesn't seem to see words the same way others do, sometimes, Soz, hope you get what I mean.
Peace and swizzle sticks. 💚
It's not an unfair point eh?
A bonkers, historically accurate sentence: the Trump regime conspired with the Maduro regime to overthrow the Maduro regime and replace it with the Maduro regime instead of the democratically elected Venezuelan government that won the 2024 presidential election there by 34 points

Now go for all the billionaires bank accounts and send the money to the poorest people in the world.

Go on,

I dare you!

Wow... Back up with the good ideas there Ed.
I have a revolutionary idea:

Work out how many doctors and nurses we need to look after everyone properly.
Train that many.
Pay them well.
Let them get on with their jobs.

You know who doesn’t cost the tax payer too much?

Disabled people.

You know who does cost the taxpayer too much.

The rich.
Not the comfortable.
The rich.
The uber rich.

Tax the fūckers.
Properly.

What Chris says.
The UK is supposed to be a democracy but the reality is that the right wing racist minority have been effectively handed a veto by the Labour Party on our countries future relations with the EU.
Nearly six in 10 (58%) people who would vote in a second referendum said they would cast their ballot to return to the EU.

The finding in a Deltapoll survey for The Mirror comes ahead of the 10th anniversary of the 2016 Brexit vote this year

Fuck the septics....

Yeh yeh, I know, not polite but hey.

So, just to reiterate -

"OI, YANKS! GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER, ALRIGHT!"
The world capitulates.

150 countries agree plan to stop global companies shifting profits to low-tax jurisdictions, but US companies will be exempt from 15% global minimum tax.

They make profit we fund the cost.

The race to the bottom will accelerate.
US will be exempt from global tax deal targeting profits of large multinationals
Agreement finalised by the OECD waters down a landmark 2021 deal that set a minimum global corporate tax of 15%

I would like to unsubscribe from this timeline please. I was hoping growing up, that I would get the Star Trek version of life, but I apparently got the timing wrong. I got the “world has to fall apart before we get it together” part of the journey. Computer, End Simulation! 😮‍💨

Abso-fucking-lutly spot on!
The weirdest thing about Americans is how many of them think their laws apply to every person in the world.
But they're certain other countries' laws don't apply to them.

I keep going back to Star Trek lately.
Not for the future.

More worrying moves from a weak govt.
Yet another huge contract, awarded without any competitive bidding process, to Wes Streeting's favourite NHS supplier, the Hard Right US surveillance tech specialists Palantir, for military decision making capability.
Palantir lands biggest ever UK defense deal
The £240 million contract with the Ministry of Defence has renewed a debate about Britain’s dependence on American technology.

I'm not SNP, I'm Scottish Greens, however this point stands! He doesn't give a shit about Scotland and, I would argue actually doesn't particularly like us up here as we, well, don't really like his brand of bullshit and grift.
Just in case you're one of these very silly Scots.

Nigel Farage is an English Nationalist

He can't stand Scotland.

Are you really wanting someone in charge of the UK, who can't stand your Country?

James isn't wrong eh?
We need to start thinking about what's coming and where we both want and need to be as a people, and yes, it's in a stronger European community.
The pardon for Hernandez makes an obvious & absolute mockery of each & every attempt to rationalise, or even justify, Trump's treatment of Maduro. I'm not sure this single, simple point can be stressed enough. Once again, he proves his critics right & reduces his supporters to epic moral corruption.

Fuck them, stop using them. But then I say the same about Amazon and people go veeeeery quite...but but but!

No tax?
Get the fuck out!

Portrays itself as an agent instead of a supplier to dodge VAT.

A tad worrying.
Let’s just make the next 3 years much easier to take & accept right now that under Trump the US is unfortunately not an ally

Double down on closer links to EU, Canada , Australia , Japan & Korea & most of all Ukraine.

Stops being overly reliant on just one dominant & at the moment abusive partner
January 4, 2026 at 9:45 AM
Not an unfair assessment.
Trump is trying to force US oil companies to rebuild Venezuelan oil fields that are too expensive to invest in at current crude prices while a full blown energy revolution is happening with cheap solar and electrification growing exponentially.

This is a dying empire shit.
a lot of interesting revelations between the lines of this story www.politico.com/news/2026/01...

I'm seeing way more fight back from inside America at the moment than from here. Admittedly we are now just yelping like a little corgie at the fat orange pricks ankles, when we should be elsewhere... 🤔😕😔
Much more honesty about what just happened from inside the U.S. than from outside. The world is full of dishonesty and cowardice.

What Prem says,

The state pension is so shit now that it only takes one accident, one fuck up, one boiler brake down and people are in serious trouble.

We are the 6th richest country in the world, we built the NHS and yet we can't make our society that bit better to allow dignity in life, really?
Growing numbers of over-60s Britons facing homelessness.

Low wages/benefits. State pension is low. No curbs on profiteering.

Real cuts in council funding for years. Lack of social housing.

1% have more wealth than 70% of the population combined.

Misery and premature death is a political choice.
