The best thing we can say about LLM’s is that they ‘ve finally found a way to make young men read again.
Chatbots — LLMs — do not know facts and are not designed to be able to accurately answer factual questions. They are designed to find and mimic patterns of words, probabilistically. When they’re “right” it’s because correct things are often written down, so those patterns are frequent. That’s all.

I think two things are true at once:
- Dems who capitulated should be primaried (a lot of sitting Dems should be primaried IMO)
- there’s no solution that didn’t require R’s to act in good faith or with integrity, which they will not do, so a “better” option was not really possible in this gov’t.
