UK. Transgender. AuDHD. MH. Definitely ANTIFA. May be a bit sweary when angry, stressed, or talking about politics. Doesn't send cash to strangers.

The lesser of two evils is still evil.

Three months BEFORE Wes Streeting announced a "permanent ban" on puberty-blockers.

& yesterday, the Tories insisted you don't even need a clinical trial to keep that ban, forever...

Evidence has now emerged of the adverse consequences of the laws banning GAHT for trans youth in both the US and UK. This includes sharp declines in mental health and increased suicide attempts among transgender young people.

Sex Matters and Falkner having major strop at Phillipson’s refusal to rubber stamp their joint ‘guidance’.
What’s laughable is SM’s 7,893 signatures. I’ve just checked the Not In Our Name website and they’re already up to 65,208!

If you haven’t signed their letter, it’s here👇

The Prime Minister just told me any party leader should want to get to the bottom of this Russian bribery scandal with Reform.

He is the Prime Minister and a party leader. Why isn't he launching a national investigation himself?

The 50 wealthiest families own more wealth than the bottom 50% of the population.

How can this Labour Government say this is a "cost of living" budget and refuse to tax the rich?

They care about protecting power and wealth. And cost of living is a buzz phrase for them. Dire.

Any media outlet calling this a "crash" instead of a "vehicle ramming attack"— language that has been used in other countries to describe the exact same thing— is being intellectually dishonest.

Add melanin, and the right-wing press would have labeled Paul Doyle a terrorist.
He admits "causing grievous bodily harm with intent, affray, wounding with intent and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm", while "victims include two babies and six other children". But it's still a "crash" and not an "attack", because whiteness.

Trump envoy Steve Witkoff has been outed as a Russian asset. This is traitorous stuff.
Steve Witkoff helped Russia derail Ukraine’s access to Tomahawk missiles. He tipped off the Kremlin about Zelensky’s U.S. visit, giving Moscow time to arrange a call that convinced Trump to block the deal. Witkoff actively works against Ukraine’s defense, in coordination with Putin’s regime.

I’m worried about Richard, the supposed Reform candidate in some council by election or other in Lincolnshire.
Look at the faraway look in his eyes.
The sadness.
The furrowed brow.
The dull listlessness…😔

Is he being held hostage against his will by Andrea Jenkyns?

I understand Ukraine wants peace. But any deal that doesn't result in total Russian withdrawal will simply encourage Putin to go again, and we'll all continue to pay for that.

18 months since the Cass Review and I'm still seeing folks say "The Cass Review didn't recommend a ban". Come on folks - I know it was a long report - but it literally did recommend using legislation to prevent private prescriptions. Here that fact is confirmed by Streeting.
Streeting is admitting that the Pathways “trial” already has a predetermined outcome. Stuffing it with SEGM placeholders is evidence of this.

The only way we are going to end state-mandated torture of trans kids is to get Labour out of government completely.

Notable there's not a single anti-trans "women's rights" organisation involved in the new campaign to end the criminalisation of abortion in Scotland.

But there are LGBTQ+ orgs.

It's almost as if one actually cares about women's rights and the other is just a hate campaign.

The way trans issues and trans lives are discussed in contemporary culture is the ultimate example of talking about people like they're not in the room *while we're in the room* begging to speak.
Theory bite!

This is probably something that cis people would find useful, as much or more than trans people, because a lot of cis people participate in it in conversations about transness and trans folks ;3

Even Hilary Cass - who disgracefully called parents terrified that their trans kids would take their own lives if they were denied healthcare "shroud wavers" - didn't go so far as to call for a ban on puberty blockers.

Nothing Wes Streeting says turns out to be true.
