I spent a good chunk of time in Leicester last year for work, taking the train and Brompton. It’s by far the best big city apart from London to cycle in I’ve been to, but not perfect. Hats off to the council though for following through from COVID…

A bit mindblown as its repeated the gathering here is about the size of that first ecumenical council at Nicea... our diversity would be different though... but I'm thinking the conversations, discussions and everything I've experienced is radically & yet not be so different at heart #CTEForum2025

I know I'm fighting a losing battle here, but it is only to the extent that they impose deadweight costs or adverse incentives that sickness benefits are a cost. Mostly - for the economy as a whole - they are a transfer. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
