Entirely unremarkable scene outside a Lincolnshire supermarket in 1979. The only thing of interest is the new computerised cash registers.

Look at that line of bikes!!! "We don't have a cycling culture", my arse.

Samaritan woman story shows us Jesus' model of ecumenism... relational and willing to listen, journey and be changed... that engagement changed Jesus & the woman... vulnerable openness, love and no condemnation even despite the difference. Redemptive unconditional inclusion. Beautiful #CTEForum2025

Loving the reference and sharing of Newbiggen theology in the Oikemene talk... moving to radical relationality and restoring recognising God in all across the divides and Difference else risk stagnating, mission is the heart of it we need to really do receptive (listening) ecumenism. #CTEForum2025

A bit mindblown as its repeated the gathering here is about the size of that first ecumenical council at Nicea... our diversity would be different though... but I'm thinking the conversations, discussions and everything I've experienced is radically & yet not be so different at heart #CTEForum2025
