AI is here, we now need to actually integrate it and really work out how we use it safety and in good faith... #CTEForum2025
March 18, 2025 at 12:21 PM
Our use of AI shpukd jit take us out of our context and us compassion a kind of superpower, ajd what about digital justice... who will have access and really benefit...there is already a huge digital divide & do we add to that divide... (this is the same argument as for the poor imho) #CTEForum2025

The myth of human progress...all will be well...science as saviour does not work, and it actually leads to division akd scattering as in the tower of babel... but its not that tech is evil, but what we do with it is the key...parable of talents. David Wilkinson #CTEForum2025
March 18, 2025 at 11:47 AM
The immediate threat is not killer robots but biased algorithms... successful transformation requires a balanced approach... David Wilkinson talks theologically about strategic vision and cultural readiness & AI @churchesengland.bsky.social #CTEForum2025
March 18, 2025 at 11:44 AM
Another art and seeing session before we go into a session on AI and no it's not an AI image but it is a strictly collated image from carefully collected studies... it is produced by algorithm of a type and talks of metrics and how concensus and individuality are not good bedfellows. #CTEForum2025

Fr Andrea's giving a great feedback on BP Paulina's tlak and sharing about the reconciliation work in relation to the filioque... and love the emphasis on not over theologising (a bit like the reminder not to overthink and get in our own ways I think!) #CTEForum2025
March 18, 2025 at 10:06 AM
The session on Art and Seeing by Dr Lewer @churchesengland.bsky.social #CTEForum2025 before the main talks was a perfect set up for the talks and I have much rolling around my head already!

fabulous as Elaine Green talks to us of the @quaker.org.uk practice and how synodality (although not a phrase used) is very much a part of their practice. Just excellent to hear these wonderful speakers from Cardinal Vincent, Archbishop Nikitas and now Elaine Green share on synodality #CTEForum2025
March 17, 2025 at 8:09 PM
Loving the talk of synodality at the @churchesengland.bsky.social #CTEForum2025 and the range of amazing speakers... loving the talk of terms and the meanings of words and Synods from the orthodox perspective being given by the wonders Archbishop Nikitas.
March 17, 2025 at 7:55 PM
The beauty of being an ecumenist and getting to attend @churchesengland.bsky.social #CTEForum2025 is just the breadth of conversation, sharing and discussion... #synodality in action it seems to me
