Iowa under Trump: Democrats 2, Republicans 0

Catelin Drey (37) from Sioux City won District 1 election by 55% to Christopher Prosch’s 44% in deep red #Iowa where Trump won by 13%.

The second state seat to be flipped this year & which has now broken the Republican senate supermajority (33-17).

At a meeting about some terrible plans the @ctdot-official.bsky.social are proposing. And I'm deeply concerned at the number of things the DOT is admitting they don't know (along with their very liberal use of eminent domain).

Isn't knowing kinda... their job?

Y’all gave people years for protesting her death.

This isn’t just injustice

it’s spitting on her grave.

Stephen Colbert has won 11 Emmys and that’s funny because a person who has no Emmys and wants one more than anything in the world is Donald Trump

This was the order of events:

1. Paramount acceded to Trump’s extortion by paying a bribe.

2. Stephen Colbert calls his employer out for doing that.

3. Paramount fires Stephen Colbert for being honest about Trump.

4. Proving Trump’s bribe worked.

Trump bombing Iran was illegal and unjustified.

I ran for Congress to make sure our leaders consider the true costs of war.

And I will be in the Senate, standing on my titanium legs, demanding answers from Trump.

👇🎯🧵 It's maddening how easily & multi-dimensionally we, as a country, have simply accepted the fact that the rule of law no longer exists; almost no one who swore oaths on Bibles to preserve, protect, & defend the constitution seems to care; & the president can act like a Mad King without penalty 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Sure, I get that we've all decided we'd rather have TikTok.

But, the facts remain that Congress passed and the president signed a law; the Supreme Court upheld that law; and Trump just decided, "Whatever."
