Last night included some pretty significant non-blue state wins: Mississippi broke the GOP supermajority in their state and Georgia flipped two Public Service Commission seats. Let’s gooooo @aftynbehn.bsky.social for TN7!!

Despicable choice by @apnews.com to use the photo it did for the Jayden Daniels injury story thumbnail.

The State of Tennessee has a $2 BILLION DOLLAR Rainy Day Fund, but apparently starving children isn’t a good enough reason to tap into it.

If the goal of this administration was just deportation, Kilmar Abrego Garcia would already be in Costa Rica, but they are focused on humiliation for daring to defy them. The cruelty is the point.

This man will not be fired for calling for the murder of American citizens, yet multiple journalists/reporters/teachers lost their job for accurately reporting things Charlie Kirk actually said and stood for.

But it’s the “violent left” that’s the problem

Since Charlie Kirk was fatally shot, people on the left have been censored, punished, and targeted with more violence for telling the truth about Kirk's legacy. The cycle continues: mainstream whitewashing of violence begets more violence and the victims are blamed.

The national gaslighting about Charlie Kirk
Another pattern of censorship that only hurts the left—and emboldens political violence.

Terrible move on WeGo’s part, against one of their most supportive partners at @walkbikenashville.bsky.social.
We’re putting a pause on new Walk Bike Bus Passes, as well as renewals, due to an unexpected rate hike from WeGo Transit. Active passes will continue to function through their renewal dates, but we are unable to activate or renew passes.

On one hand, Republican officials call themselves "warfighters."

On the other, they become whiny crybabies at the thought of setting foot in DC streets and New York City subways that literal schoolchildren navigate every day without incident.

Real macho stuff.

The news is rarely good, right? The anticipated obituary keeps me going.

About once a week or so, I have this moment when I step back, look at the incompetence, the cruelty, the endless lies, the rampant corruption, and I am just gobsmacked that America did this to ourselves, on purpose.

Trump is firing immigration judges.

His regime is ending "temporary protected status" for thousands of people here legally.

ICE is arresting asylum seekers at their hearings.

The DOJ is threatening to strip immigrants of their citizenship.

Trump never actually supported "legal immigration."

We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.
