the actual Republican parents who support the politicians pushing for this think the effort and money they spent parenting are wasted if their kids turn out different from them.

This might be a hot take, but if parents are so concerned about what their kids see online, then they should actually do some damn parenting themselves instead of campaigning for governments to make things worse for everyone.

I doubt I'll get a different response but I reached out again to Thom Tillis how he can possibly support ICE today. Ted Budd is a coward that never replied to my first contact request.
I knew it would be unlikely that my state (NC) senators might show some compassion for the dead or concern of ICEs recent overreaches.
But it was still awful to contact them and get a response of outright dismissal.

Alex from our time working together, while he was in nursing school. Later, he moved to ICU, working as a nurse to support critically ill Veterans. He had such a great attitude. We’d chat between patients about trying to get in a mountain bike ride together. Will never happen now
