Briefing due 11/10 so this is unlikely to be resolved soon

Who has gone out on a limb to challenge Trump?

Lots of federal district court judges.

Whom did the Supreme Court choose at this moment to rein in (having passed on doing so under Biden)?

Federal district court judges.

"Forget about intelligence" is the best summary of the Trump era I've seen
in every sense
Host: Are you saying the US did not see intelligence that the Supreme Leader had ordered weaponization?

Rubio: That’s irrelevant

Host: No, that's a key point

Rubio: No it’s not… Forget about intelligence

DEMOCRATIC ELECTEDS: You need to be holding hearings like Raskin/Schiff did but on the bloodbaths at Social Security and IRS. DOGE can now pocket everyone's personal information. IRS is being set up to make billionaire taxes optional; no more phone support # at SSA. HOLD THE HEARINGS.

136. Setting the Record Straight on the Anti-Trump Injunctions
President Trump and his supporters are mounting increasingly noisy attacks on lower-court judges. But their claims combine shameless hypocrisy with shameful distortions of the facts.

Hey @mcuban.bsky.social, know anything about this?
NEW: Because of Trump's illegal firings of FTC commissioners in an executive power grab, millions of diabetics allegedly harmed by pharmacy benefit managers into paying inflated prices for lifesaving insulin have literally nobody to hear the case.

Does this mean we are also annexing the Champagne region of France now? That’s the only way we will have American champagne businesses

They’re only tariffs if they’re from the Champagne region, otherwise they’re sparkling taxes.
* TRUMP SAYS IF EU DOES NOT REMOVE TARIFF ON WHISKEY THE U.S. WILL PUT 200% TARIFF ON ALL WINES, CHAMPAGNE

* TRUMP SAYS THOSE TARIFFS WOULD INCLUDE ALCOLOHIC PRODUCTS COMING OUT OF FRANCE AND OTHER EU COUNTRIES

I agree.

But hopefully he delays long enough for NY politicians to oust Adams.

Starting to worry about a Bluesky cocoon. Way too many folks here are interpreting Colombia as some sort of Trump climbdown, and that's not what happened.

The headline should be “In unprecedented move Trump says he will fire the FBI director and replace him with a political loyalist.”

Instead NYT pretends that this is just another “appointment,” like HHS or Ag.

@gregdoucette.bsky.social are there any in the 2028 free for all who you do/dont like? I don’t care for Newsom. I think Whitmer is great but I think a lot of Dems are going to want a man in 2028.
1️⃣ 2028 will be a total Dem free-for-all. Newsom, Whitmer, Shapiro, Moore, at least 4-5 more

2️⃣ Nah. Generally undervotes vote for POTUS and nothing else. Overall turnout just dropped across the board – historically, a sign of things going well

@gregdoucette.bsky.social

Follow up question: I know it's early, but who do you think Dems run in 28?

And is undervoting why Harris has 15 million less votes than Biden in 2020? Seems high
